Fan-Clube David Geftakys Inspiration

David Geftakys é um músico e compositor LA. Com um som rock / indie original, este talentoso músico tem estado a cantar desde cedo. Ele começou a ter aulas e aprender a tocar piano antes de passar sobre a expandir o seu talento natural para a guitarra. Nascido em St. Louis, Geftakys logo se mudou com sua família para a Califórnia. Viver em várias cidades do Estado de Ouro ele logo percebeu que, a fim de prosseguir a sua carreira a sério a música que ele precisaria para fazer a mudança para Los Angeles. Depois de trabalhar com vários músicos e bandas da região David finalmente lançou seu primeiro EP solo, "Linhas em minhas mãos", no início de 2010. Citando as suas influências musicais como The Police, U2, Goo Goo Dolls, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Coldplay e Paul Simon, entre outros, Geftakys desenvolveu um estilo musical exclusivamente sua. O ano passado viu Geftakys aparecer no show de fim de noite estilo "gravação ao vivo com David Valdez", onde recebeu críticas positivas dos críticos. Ele tinha uma entrevista bem sucedida no programa "IN" com Gus Sommers, que foi publicado no site do "IN" show. With an original rock/indie sound, this talented musician has been singing from an early age. He began by taking lessons and learning to play the piano before moving over to expand his natural talent to the guitar. Born in St. Louis, Geftakys soon moved with his family to California. Living in several towns and cities in the Golden State he soon realized that in order to seriously pursue his music career he would need to make the move to LA. After working with various musicians and bands in the area David finally released his first solo EP, 'Lines in My Hands', in early 2010. Citing his musical influences as The Police, U2, Goo Goo Dolls, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Coldplay, and Paul Simon, among others, Geftakys has developed a musical style uniquely his. This past year has seen Geftakys appear on the late-night style show "Live Taping with David Valdez" where he received positive reviews from critics. He had a successful interview on The "IN" Show with Gus Sommers, which was posted on The "IN" Show's website. Geftakys also released this as a collection of Behind the Scenes videos on YouTube and they have been a firm favorite with fans around the globe. DJ DirtyDiamond has given repeated air time to his EP on Unleashedradio.com. He has also been hitting the local LA bar scene playing acoustic sets all over the city to promote his EP as well as the upcoming album. With many causes dear to his heart Geftakys also stepped out on May 1st to play in the May Day for a Cure Concert to benefit the Music For a Cure Foundation. Ticket sales went directly to bringing music to terminally ill children in hospitals around LA and Orange County. Currently working on his first album (due out later this year) Geftakys promises a more mature sound with more of the complex melodic lines and heartfelt lyrics that we have come to expect from him. David is already building a solid reputation on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook as being an incredibly down to earth guy. He has developed a loyal international fan base and this is sure to be reflected in sales from the new album due for release later this year.
